If you want to spread the purchase cost, you could take out a bank loan; they can be easy to organise, often online these days, with the cash appearing, as if by magic, in your bank account.

Elsewhere on the site, we have written about how much to pay for unique items such as engagement rings, and we advised not to spend more than you can afford to pay off in whatever way you choose in three months. That’s because you do not want an engagement ring to detract from the overall expenses of the wedding itself.

That seems to be good advice for more than just engagement rings, but valid for special gifts or even treats for yourself. If we are serious about something, we can often manage relatively high-value purchases over three months!

We have taken our own advice and set up a payment system that can help you spread the cost of your jewellery purchases over three months with no interest payments or additional fees. Our arrangement is not just for high-value items – most of our diamond jewellery can be purchased with three equal payments, and no interest will be charged.

When you look at many of our product pages, just below the price of the item, you will see a line of text that says, “Make 3 payments of £xxx.xx. Klarna. No fees. Learn more”. This text does not appear for all clients for all products, but you can arrange to make 3 equal monthly payments for the item with no interest fees or other charges wherever you see this message.

To take up the offer, click the ADD TO CART button and then the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button on the cart and follow the instructions from there. If all goes well, you will be able to pay for your new diamond jewellery purchase and ease the strain on your bank balance!

In some cases, the 3-month payment option is not available. If that is the case for the item you are looking at, then you can still use Klarna’s system to make the payment in 30 days from the date when your order is shipped – a very convenient way to buy anything you want to buy now without waiting for your next salary or bonus payment!

Setting up a Klarna payment for your jewellery is very easy and fastand does not require a full credit history search. Of course, you should not buy anything on finance without being able to afford it, and Klarna carries out eligibility checks before funding the purchase.
